In the ealy 1950es bearings made from synthetic sapphire were used for balance measurement techniques. With the downturn of this market in the 1970es new applications were developed in optical markets.In this area V. Kyburz AG expanded its knowledge steadily. From 1990es until now two important business units grew from core business: Medicine and Aerospace. Therewith V. Kyburz AG proved to be a qualified partner in the supply of strategic components.
